Church Cleaners
Purpose of Church Cleaners: Presently, we have several groups of people who faithfully clean our beautiful church. There are four in each group so that each group only cleans the church every seventh week for about one hour on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. We also have a list of substitutes so that if someone is unavailable, there is always a replace- ment. The work is easy – we clean and dust the pews and around the window sills and statues and the altar area, and then we swiffer the floors (aren’t swiffers great!), and then vacuum the carpets. We also dust and vacuum the sacristy. Our only cleaning is done within the confines of the church and, no, we don’t do windows.
If we get more people interested, then we could make up another group and that would mean each group would clean every eighth week. We welcome any men who would like to help us, and there are several who come when their wives are here. It is so rewarding because we can all see the results. Yes, we truly are Volunteer Church Cleaners.

Church Groundskeeper
Purpose of Church Groundskeeper: Those involved with the church groundskeeping are responsible for the following:
- Spring/Fall seasonal fertilization of grass in immediate proximity to church.
- Weeding and placement of mulch on gardens and foundation plantings, including entrance sidewalk to church.
- Trim hedges surrounding air conditioners on east side of church and shrubs along foundation, including west side of the church.
- Get volunteers for needed weeding along foundation and beneath trees that have been mulched.
- Assist with cutting grass and edging of grass along sidewalk as needed.
- Keep parking lot clean of debris and update white lines as needed.
- Occasionally oversee “Mary’s Walk”.

Money Counters
Purpose of Money Counters: A small group of parishioners who meet after the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass or the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass to count the collections. Normally, three counters can perform the required function within 25-30 minutes. Counters are scheduled once or twice a month. With a few more volunteers, it could be reduced to once a month. The only requirement is strict confidentiality. This is a small but important function within the parish.

Parish Bulletin Program
Purpose of Parish Bulletin Program: The purpose of the Parish Bulletin program is to coordinate the printed and digital versions of the weekly bulletin that is distributed to parishioners.
